The sites:

S – sandbanks which are slightly covered by seawater at all times

E – estuaries

M – mud and sandflats not covered by seawater at low tide

L – lagoons

I – large shallow inlets and bays

Sites in bold are those included in the SAC project.

Sites in italics are possible special areas of conservation.
